Body massage for the tired bodies

So after doing some thinking for the past few days, i finally went for a body massage recommended by a friend for the 2nd time in my life. First was a bad one. Girls need to be pamper sometimes instead of just work, work and work.

The spa is situated in the heart of Georgetown, Lorong Selamat. The building looked slightly faded but you have to walk up to 2nd floor where you'll be greeted with lights and pebbles at the entrance.

It is a place with 2 rooms. One is for facial session and another one is for massage. There are 2 small rooms which has been renovated into toilets. The floors are filled with black and white big pebbles with 2 tiles for you to step on. With hand-painted tiles welcomed you on the wall.

When we enter, a chinese girl greeted us with a heart-warming smile and followed by an Indonesian kakak who do massages too. We were escorted into the massage room with a towel each to change into and a basket to put our belongings(with a small teddy bear in it, how cute).

We took 2 hours of massage session and got 1 free hot stone session for free. Price is reasonable which cost RM55 for 2 hours and RM30 for 1 hour. It was quite a good deal and my friend dozed off halfway through the session while i was chit-chating with the girls...i couldn't sleep as there was light even though it was dim.

After the session, we paid and decided to join as member. RM1 for 1 point and you can redeem a few massage session. You will even get a RM5 voucher for you to use in the next session. But it's only a one time use.

They offer a wide range of therapy including mani and padi at a reasonable price despite the location. The place is fully booked on weekends. So advisable to go on weekdays and please call for reservation. You can call 04-227 5609 for reservation or walk-in to their spa and get a session, if you're lucky at 78, 1st floor, Lorong Selamat, 10400, Penang. The hospitality is good (from the beauty therapist) consider they have a snobby boss...

Overall the sessiom was good...

Relationship is a 2 way thing

It is unbelievable how being in a relationship can change someone. From someone who doesn't have patience into someone yang penyabar. From someone who likes to rush things into someone who is calm.At times you blame yourself for spoiling the moment and then you realise that it wasn't because you after all.

When you fight, this will normally comes out from your partner's mouth 'it is all your fault for what has happend to us'. You take a step back and think. In that moment, you thought, maybe he/she is right. You can't think right at that time. Even if your partner cheated on you because he/she can't find the quality that he/she wants in you, you still forgive them and thought everyone deserve a second chance. I used to believe that.

At times, after a breakup, best is not to think of ways to get back together or give each other a chance to change. Best is to dump the history into a recycle bin and never make the same mistake again. I know it is pain but i guess that's the best for all.

Years of being together is not a concern but the moments both party created throughout the time together that count. You can be together for the past 10 years but if everything is not in place is just a waste of time and your youth. But if you're together for 3 months and everything goes well, that is what we call jackpot.

You'll never guess who's lucky and who's not. Everybody has different ways of handling a situation in a relationship. Some might be able to stand the strong wind that comes along and some might not. You know for yourself what type of person are you. No one can read each other's mind. Like me, i hate confrontation with anyone. I prefer to be by myself.

The past...

.....do haunt us at times.. when we are up, we becomes moody for no reason. We regretted things that we did in the past. Bad decision, wrong people that we met, wrong love life and anything else. I know it is not a healthy thing to do. Remisnicing the old stuff but as a human we can't help it.

We hurt the feelings of the people we used to care. Not taking into consideration of how another person feel. Hoping that someday that person will forgive you. So that you can move on...

New menu in Nandos

Well, if you're looking something new to eat, try heading to Nandos. They're now serving a few new items in their menu. I like their new designer's drink particularly. I have tried 2 but as usual, i can remember the name. So try them now...

On Saturdays and all

Had a very productive day.. started with cleaning up the house, changed the bedsheet, water the plant, washed the clothes and brought my rabbits for a walk at the park. And not to forget, i cooked lunch as well as i was lazy to tapau food. Plus i was in the mood to cook too.

Oh yes, i have this on-going cracked heel problem and use all kinds of heel balm/cream but none worked including the Rosken Foot and Heel balm. It said that the result will be visible within 3 days. Well it was a 'fairytale'. I think maybe my cracked heel is a bit 'stubborn'. So i went to Watson to have a look and found Franch Oil heel cream (yes, the famous Franch Oil). It is believe that Franch Oil can heal scars, stretch marks, and so on. I didn't know they produced that as well. So i bought at RM13.90 for 50g. We'll see whether it works or not this time.

Nu Teen

Remember the blakhead remover that i mentionedin the previous post? Well,i have used it several time. U can use it everyday but i only use it when i need it.

Okay, it does work for me. I could see the blackheads on my nose especially are dissapearing but since i often drive, therefore i reduce the chances of getting smoke and dust all over my face... Nevermind that part. Weird thing about this product is that you have to use it on a dry skin. Use it before you wash your face with a cleanser. Use a pea size on each side of your nose, rub it softly and you can feel the rough type of skin comes out. Those who has a bad blackhead problem miht need to use it everyday until it comes out...

*the result of this test is based on my skin therefore the result might be different on individuals.

Whatever it is with Friday

It was productive day for me today after years of unproductive things done in my earlier days..a shorter term for sleeping...

Took a half day leave and paid the bills and house rent. Then went for lunch and watched Green Lantern. Not bad for a comic made into a movie..i like the hero specifically...hahaha.. i have heard a lot about the bean bag seat. First of its kind in Penang..so i decided to try it today and it cost me RM15. you'll most likely fall to sleep than watching the movie. It is comfortable but abit slippery..so avoid wearing satin or silk..you don't want to be pushing yourself up everytime.. and did i mention that the seats vibrate??? Yes it does, everytime there's scene with an extra bass in it, you can feel the sound up to your seats...cool aite...

After movie, went for dinner in QB. bought some stuffs in Watson and headed back home. Oh yes, before the movie part, went to pay the bills...

Women at work

While i was typing this, i'm actually waiting for Dell's Wise (Women in Search of Excellence) event held in cafeteria to start but i can't post as i had no internet connection.

Registered my name and took the door gift. The gift was a recycle bag. I know that we're in the process of going green but does everyone need to give recycle bag as a door gift?....*sigh*

Anyway, a colleague of mine wanted the pink color bag so she got it and i assumed we can choose but when it comes to my turn, the registration lady said 'sorry ar, cannot choose color already'...WTF???.. if you know that we're not allowed to choose, why can't she inform it to my colleague first... It won't be fair if someone else have the option but not for the next one... Talking about being fair...it goes down the drain...

These sentences onwards are written after the session. It was awesome!!!. The presenter was good and funny and best of all be don't feel sleepy...

Mangrove tree planting

This event was held yesterday. Was suppose to be there by 7.30am and as usual i couldn't wake up. Lucky me that one of my team mate gave me a morning call. But it was 8.30am. I got up, brushed my teeth without bathing (yes i know it was disgusting but i had no choice). Drove like a F1 driver and reached there within 15 minutes....yeah...women can drive as fast as man okay..cut that.. Parked my car and went to get my friend, grabbed a tree and line up to plant it at a designated swamp... The smell was freaking awful. Yes, mud is good for the skin but i can assure that the mud that i went in was more to killing you....there were shell everywhere but i had no choice but to step on them....felt bad but really, i had no other option. Didn't take many photos as my hands were full of mud...will get it from my friends at work..

Kids nowadays

I was having dinner with a friend of mine in Kenny Rogers. While we were eating,a father and his daughter walked in and sat at a table next to us. I was facing them and this little daughter of his fascinated me with the way how she feed herself using fork and spoon. How polite and slowly she was. She was quiet as well. Not like some children who create a lot of drama. This little girl was so cute. I guess her parents taught her well with good manners. And will post about my company's activity today in regards with mangrove tree planting in the next post.

Review on Khiels and NuTeen

Remember i told you about the free sample of skincare that i got from Khiel's? Well i just started using them today. Pretty good i can say. The sample that i got is for oil control.

The cleanser is clear and does not feel soapy. It has a very refine texture of foam and doesn't feel dry after shower unlike ordinary cleanser. So it will be okay for those who doesn't use toner or moisturizer as it won't dry up your skin.

As for the toner, it smells herbally and it is made from plant extract. Normal toner will have a strong smell of alcohol and when you pour it onto your palms or cotton face, it evaporate so quickly. Not this kind, it feels like gel and you can feel it absorb into your face after a few taps with your hands. Even if you have pimple on your face, you won't have burning sensation when using the toner, not like ordinary toner where you feel 'pedih' when applying on your face that has pimple wound.

The 3rd step will be the moisturizer or they called it lotion. The color and texture are as the photos above. It glide easily on the surface of your skin and doesn't feel sticky. Your face doesn't feel oily throughout the day except the nose.

Overall i would say,it is a good product and for those who has sensitive and oily skin, you might want to consider getting this range but it will cause a small hole in your pocket. It comes in a medium bottle. Might last you less than 6 months depending on how you use it. So for me,it might last years as i skip my regime when i'm in a rush or lazy. But most of the time is because i'm lazy....hahahahha..

and yes, i have a lot of blackheads and pimples (when my period cycle is near). A friend of mine recommended me Nu Teen (the photo with the orange cap). Bought it in Watson and the price is RM 13.90 (after discount). We'll see whether it works or not after a few try....that's all for tonight.....goodnite peeps...

when we think our life is sad and pathetic...

.....think again after you see the video clip below. If you can't understand Korean, read the subtitle. Do not open other page while watching this video and you will understand..

So?? Touching right. I cried while watching it but I can't cry my heart out as I was at the office obviously. We complained so many things about out pathetic life including me which I can't deny that.

We think that working in an air-conditioned environment is not enough that we want more. We think 9 hours of work, 5 days a week is so painful. We think that eating nasi kandar everyday is boring. We think that studying is a boring thing to do that we want to finish it fast so that we can start working..Well, think again after watching it. He has to sell gums and energy drinks for a living. he lives by his own without anybody's help. He paid for his studies and pay for his own meal. How about us? We have subsidy from company (for some), we have a place to live, we can afford to buy Gucci and LV. We can afford to eat McDonald, yet all this privileges we have, we are still not satisfied. Same goes to me.

I respect him for being such a strong boy after what he has gone through in his life. Hardship, being bullied, living with nothing yet he can stand on his 2 feet now. These are the things that suppose to make us feel so blessed to have what we have now. We don't have to beg for money or food but yet we're so vain and tend to forget what we already have. Nothing is ever enough for us. So when will we learn to appreciate things?

shop,shop and shop

To all the ladies on the dance floor...Nah, just kidding...Good news for all the ladies who love to shop especially girls who has small figure ranging from size XS to S like me. I assumed some of us knew about this website Asos. This website sells a variety of product from dresses, shirt to beauty regime product and you'll be aawww and your fingers will be clicking the mouse non-stop...For the boyfriends and husbands out there, be ready to burn your pocket or your credit card statement will be full with ASOS product...

Below are some of the dresses i like and I'm intending to find something similar or exact same locally.. You can use either a debit card or credit card for the purchase. There will be shipping cost incure(definitely) and it will be ship from the UK..Delivery outside of the UK will be roughly about 1 week..So dalam 1 week, makan tak lalu, tidur tak lena and mandi tak basah...Huhuhuhu...

Fort Cornwallis and me

After 7 years being part of Penangite social pyramid, i managed to visit Fort Cornwallis. A 20 minutes walk around the fort that caused me 2 bucks. I'd imagined that the fort will be bigger judging by the look of it on the the outside. But it's just full with open space rather than bunkers. Creepiest place i would say the chapel, an underground bunker where they used to keep gun powder and a small space where it used to be cell to keep prisoners....

Little things around

I downloaded a few camera software that will give more choices of effect. So while i was at home, why not give it try to test it. Some were taken at home like the bedsheet while for the glass, i don't think i have to tell you. I'm not gonna do the HTC INCREDIBLE S review till i really get a grip of it. So it won't be anytime soon...

Khiel's trial pack

How was your weekend went? Mine was not bad. Went to QB yesterday and today. Bought some groceries. Nothing much. Crowd are the same. Same people, same trend, same conversation.

Came back Gurney Plaza today. I have no reason to go there as i don't really shop there. It has been a while since i last went there and the reason because of the jam, the parking and the place are packed. Plus the things are not cheap. Not that i earn 6 figure paycheck.

So while i was walking to Gelatissimo to get myself an ice-cream. It's freaking RM8.90 a cup man! What has happened to the 30 cents ice-cream when we were in primary school?

Anyway, while i was on the way, a boy which is obviously younger than me, judging by his look, stopped me and asked whether i could fill in a survey for him by Khiels. After that he said he wanted to do some oil test on my face. I thought seriously in the middle of the crowd!!!! It turned out to just a small piece of small paper which i need to put on my cheek and forehead to test for oiliness. I just knew i had a dry cheek and slightly oily forehead. After that he brought me to Khiels boutiqe to get a sample of their new oil-free skincare range. The sales promoter said the sample could last me a few days. So i thought why not. I will start using it tomorrow and we'll see how it'll turn out.... Have great Monday....
