Ronald McDonald giant character

I used to collect McDonald's toys since I was small but rarely i managed to collect the characters. So McD has come out with their giant characters. Each character will only be available for 1 week. And it's only RM3 if you decide to buy it without the happy meal.

Happy Deepavali, festival of light, and India trip

I hope it's not too late to wish all my Hindu friends a joyous and happy Diwali. May the light of blessings and happiness shine upon you and your family.

Deepavali does reminded me of my stay in India a few years back as daddy was working there at that time. It was a fun experience. You got to see the real life of 2 different level of society in the pyramid of life. Poor and rich. Unlike us in Malaysia, we have middle income society but not them.

Having to exposed in different countries when daddy was travelling around the globe due to work made me and the family realize how lucky we are despite of complaining every single thing, even the tinniest one including myself.

Anyway, India was similar to us except most of the dishes are vegetarian it's very rich so a little of those dish on your plate can last you the whole day. As Indian food is my fav dish, therefore i have no problem adapting to it. My fav drink in India was the Masala tea. It's very refreshing. It's like teh tarik mix with a variety of spices. But it is serve in almost shot glass size and it's quite cheap.

Talking about shopping, most of the malls are not as big as here but you'll be surprise that there are a lot of Asians especially Japanese. So you have no problem finding Japanese things over there. Some of the products are not that expensive as it is made in India. But not watches, sunglasses and products similar to that categories.

India is not as bad as we think. The people there are FRIENDLY except those in the upper class of the society. Meaning the orang kaya. You just gotta get use to the pollution and foodwise. Those who has asthma, first thing you gotta have in your checklist is your inhaler...seriously..

Cleanser review

So, its about time i write a review on cleanser. Currently i'm using pond's white pinkish cleanser as i have a few unobvious freakles. It's not as effective as i thought.

With my increasing age, i think a cleanser that helps to whiten your skin is not enough. I would need something stronger yet mild and anti-ageing too.

This is Olay Total Effect cream cleanser. Mind you that it does not contain any foam. So it is not my choice. I prefer something foamy One thing good is, you won't feel tightness in your skin. I started to change to this when i saw my mum using it. You can purchase this in Watson as they often have sale on this product.

And this is a better version of Olay cream cleanser but slightly foamy. The effects are similar to the above.

Well this, Nutox Oxifusion is some what a trend in the market. And you can see it is widely commercialised through tv and posters. I have yet to try it as i just purchased it at a very good price. RM24 for two! Where?? Definitely in Parkson Prangin Mall. Hurry go get them before they're all out from the shelves. Will do a review once i start using them. Be patience...

New family member

I've always wanted to have a dwarf bunny but not sure how i ended up having an anggora and loop ear breed. Both of them have grown huge, so i thought i'd need to get a bigger cage for them. So i visited CTY pet store and coincidently they have dwarf rabbit available so i grabbed one black with white stripe. He's about 1 month old i think and he's adorable.

head is spinning

Work has been very hectic recently thus lack of updates. With my tight schedule and all that, I have so little time for myself and my sleeping behaviour has changed as well. It seems that every second I have are allocated to doing something in regards with my work or assignments/projects. I hope this hard work paid off in the end after what I have sacrificed. And I need a break desperately once things has been settled.

What does 1Malaysia actually meant?

It means that every race work and help each other in a single community without any prejudice and doubt. But what i witnessed yesterday was a total opposite of it.

Well, i was in Tanjung Bungah foodcourt to buy dinner. So while waiting, i thought why not get Slurpy from 7-Eleven as i was 'craving' one. While i was walking towards 7-Eleven, i saw an old man fell down into a dry drain with his bike on top of him. I rushed towards him to help. After that, he said thank you and he rode off. I knew he was in pain.

What saddened me was, it was in front of 7-Eleven and beside it was a burger stall with 2 Malay guys reading newspaper and a Chinese man waiting in an MPV parked in front of the old man who fell down. None of them helped. They were spectators watching from a bench. How heartless were they. I should have said something to them but instead i kept quiet.

So tell, how can we achieve Vision 2020 if we can't achieve this???

Past event

This was Yi Shan's surprise birthday lunch. Not a surprise actually as she knew earlier that we were going to celebrate for her. We had lunch in Winter Warmers. Food and company were both good.

See the reason why I said, my team is awesome...This is what we do on a quarter basis(i think so). These are motivational cards dedicated to the family of some kind of disease in Singapore. We're competing globally with other teams around the globe (only for our company employees).

Well, obviously the first photo was my creation except the sun and other character on my card was an extra thing done by my other team mates. As i was running out of ideas..FYI, I got C for my art back in high school. So do expect for a C result when doing this kind of thing.

Friends we should keep and cherish

What happened to me today took a toll on myself and what i have been fighting for in a friendship. I have never hope for anything in return in a friendship. All i wanted is some appreciation and acknowledgement.

All the while i thought, by taking care of people's feelings, by doing the extra things for people, by noticing things that others don't, by being there when a friend needed someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on, by putting others as priority before my ownself, that i will have real friends but today it proved me wrong. It was like a slap in a face.

Imagined hoping something from someone, like your life is relying on a friend and that friend knew that and did nothing. Like 'aahh, nevermind, she'll find a way' How would you felt? Like a samurai sword being slash on your body.

I know i speak without thinking and that some people can't accept. But those are just words. I maybe harsh but i will do anything for a close friend or my best friend. This shows that you don't me that well. People who look too good to be true doesn't mean that he/she are willing to go to the maximum extend for a friend. I've seen people like that and even now.

In my years of living, all i ever did was trying to please people in hoping that i could be part of their life and memory. But i only succeed in a few attempts which lasted till now. And those few attempts made it worth while. And those successful rate are in the group of people that i can rely on, that i can gamble my own life on.

Well, a human can't have everything that he wish for so i guess i have to put a borderline between close friend and differentiate which is the best.

Edelweiss de cafe

So if you're finding a place to dine with antiques, this is the place to be. Situated in the heart of world heritage buildings, it is a small little colonial style shop.

It is more to a place to chill instead of wanting to have a real dinner. They serve a lot of German food so basically western style. And every first week of every month, you can see a lot of Germans here. They will have a gathering which consist of mostly man...

This huge clock was bought by this restaurant owner in 2005 and was restored by a German clock expert.

An old school fire extinguisher. Some thing that you rarely could find

Collections of tiffin carrier.

A small little lion awaits you when you get your change back. Cute right.

Dresses

Vivy Yusof is the one on the right.

You know how I'm in the midst of tossing out my shorts skirts and short pants. Well I'm now into long dresses particularly less sexy one(yes, I'm trying to change my dressing style bit by bit, no harm right to more modest version). And I've been following Vivy Yusof blog almost everyday. And this one particular blog post that was mentioning a wedding that she attended caught my attention (mainly because her dress from Mimpikita that she wore that night). I love most of the clothes that she wore. Very decent yet elegant..Nice and appropriate..Does not look overdress..Seriously...

When work and class collide

This is what happened to a person who worked for 8 hours everyday and go to class right after work.

Your span of attention in class can only last roughly for the first 1 hour. Okay, maybe 1 1/2 hour. But it also depend on how does the lecturer teaches in class...some will even fall a sleep..

Good company

You know, sometimes it is about the food that makes your stomach like having butterflies but the people you're surrounded by

That's why i said, people whom you knew for a few months sometimes make a better company than someone you know for years.
