What I did over the weekend

Had my haircut and scalp treatment after months. Decided to try APT Professionals Team hair salon. You don't need to do any appointment best of all but advisable to do it especially during peak seasons like CNY, Hari Raya. It's a first come, first serve basis. They have a few branches in Malaysia but only 1 in Penang. Was recommended by my best friend. Best of all, the staffs there are good looking...heheheh. It's something a girl need in a salon.
You can find them at:

This photo was taken during my fiance's team Xmas cum New Year dinner in TGI, QB.
See, you don't have to spend thousands of ringgit to visit one of the hot spot from the States. Instead we bring 'her' here.

A close friend of mine got married early of this month and I was so happy to be there. It was such an intimate wedding event with close friends and close family & relatives attended the special day.
I think we were the one having fun with the photobooth. Met an unexpected old friend from high school and we hung out in KLCC later after the event.
It was like a mini gathering for us. Hahahha

I think this is the first frozen food concept in Malaysia. I was sceptical about frozen food when I first entered the shop. I though 'Nah, how could frozen food be delicious as fresh;y prepared??' Wait till you taste them.
1. A cosy sitting area greets you when you enter the cafe. You can choose from a cushion like sitting (nearby to the counter)to a normal wooden-cushion-table kind of sitting on the outside part of the cafe.
2. The blue cover freezer is where all the frozen food available on the menu are kept. You can choose which ever you favour. As for drinks, there are juices, cappuccino, and other choices of coffee.
3. Sri Kulai has been reviewed in newspapers like Straits Times, The Star and top magazines company like Women's Weekly. They got good reviews on their food. With cosy seating and ambience, you will definitely sit more than 2 hours in that cafe. We know cause we did that
:-)
4. 8 microwaves provided for you to cook your frozen food for 4 minutes and then you got to enjoy your favourite food. Dishes like nasi leamk with rendang ayam also available, spaghetti bolognese.
5. Honey glaze chicken with potato and carrot (top photo), nasi lemak with rendang ayam and sambal (below). Best part is the ikan bilis are still crunchy even though they're frozen before they are cooked. It tasted delicious.
