Online shopping

Experience bad customer service when making online purchase?? Fret no more.

I used to be sceptical about these stuff but a friend of mine suggested an online shop TLA ショップ. I've never seen the owner but what i can tell you, she's a honets and efficient blogshop owner. Your item will definitely arrive on time but the price are reasonable but don't expect top noth quality unless you purchase them in LV or Prada:-)..

Perfect car wash

Yeay! I have found the perfect car wash with good customer service and good cleaning service. For only RM3, you can get a spotless cleaning service. An extra of RM1 for a tyre wax. And now they're having promo which is when you buy their coupon for RM25 (10X wash). You will get 2x free vacum service. It's a whole lot of saving.

Plus it is near to industrial area. So it will be a convenient for those who works in Bayan Lepas area.

Ohh yes, they also provide car rental service.

Revamped

I've thrown out all my short skirts and now moving slowly to decent type of clothings. I do wear singlet or sleeveless but often with a cardigan on top of it.

I guess as i grow older, my sense of dress up changes. Changes slowly to a lower key of clothing line.

But the fashion style in last month's Women's Weekly made me drool. These are some of the dresses and bias top that i'm currently crazy over for and in the hunt of it. It look classy and top notch...don't look over dress. It will be suitable for a company dinner.

So my teamleader suggested that we sould order in as most of the parking lots will be close for this event. By the time i reach the office(around 7.30), most remaining lots has been taken...

And these photos were taken the same day as it was Yi Shan's birthday. The real day is on Monday but we decided to celebrate it earlier as my 2 of my colleagues will be on AL this Monday. But the real celebration will be done on Monday also. Pics will be uploaded...

Universiti Sains Malaysia 44th Convocation

The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.

~Aristotle

courtesy of NST online

Don't be deceived by the title of this post... I'm not graduating yet.....Not yet.. I have roughly 1 1/2 years more to go...I attended the Graduate School of Business dinner at Evergreen in conjunction with USM 44th Convocation. To celebrate all MBA students who has graduated in this year's convocation. It was a proud moment to see them receiving awards (such as top students, outstanding and such) at yesterday's event. The proudest people will be their parents/caretaker. And i know how hard it is to study MBS (not like undergrade studies).

Some of them came all they way from other states to attend this dinner and they took the effort to be there. Moments like this will be remembered and cherish throughout your entire life and the memories that you have with your classmates, lecturers and so on will always be in your heart. And these are the stories that you will want to tell your kids in the future. On how hard it is you've work to earn a scroll, what it takes to walk on stage and receive a scroll from Yang Di Pertuan Agong, how many sleepless night you had especially when exam is around the corner, how much of effort, time and money you're thrown in to get a piece of award/certificate and etc.

I'm not sure how will i react when it is my turn but definitely the feeling will be overhelmed that graduating from a degree...It's a definite..Insyaallah...

The book affair

Do you like reading? I know i do. You can now visit the largest book fair in Port Sweetenham, Penang which is The Logos. The exhibition will be till the 26th September. Entrance fee is RM1 and children below 12 is free.

And girls, don't worry, there are plenty of hot hunks for you. Therefore do not worry of boredom.

And grab this opportunity to take a tour at the lower deck. They display different art and stuff from different country.

The Logos have travelled all around the globe to promote the benefit of reading. The prices are quite reasonable but the kids side has more to offer basically. That's why you can see a lot of children at the exhibition. All proceeds from the sale will be use to help the poor and other charity work.

And do you know that The Logos crewmembers consist of volunteers from different side of the world? Most of them are young adult.

See the crowd? So wear something comfy cause even the coldest air-cond will not work here.

This is the lower dock that i mentioned earlier

Borders membership card

So ever since i've started my masters which is about 1 1/2 years ago, i don't particularly visit Popular bookshop anymore (yes, i do when i was an undergrad). Due to the fact that most of my reference books are imported, therefore Borders is the nearest bookstore i can go (situated nearby to my office). They have more variety of books and i can order a book which is not available at their store upon request.

As i bought reference books yesterday which exceed RM150 (less than that, you gotta pay RM20 for the membership fee), they offered me their reward card, and it is not just a card(i like the fact that it also comes in 2 mini version where you can hang at your necklace, landyard). 1 main card is for you, and the other 2 mini cards can be use by friends and family. And best of all they enjoy the same benefit as you do. Good aight...

On top of that you can enjoy a 10% discount on selected items in Metrojaya, Starbucks and of course discounts on books in Borders also products fron Campap.

This is the standard card size

And this is the smaller version that you can hang on to your necklace..cute right.

And these are the books that i bought. I didn't imagine that i'll buy book which is for dummies *roll eyes*

Lunch with the girls

I'm lucky that my team consist of girls only. Therefore we can talk about whatever we want including nasty things...envy ei?.

Anyway, my team leader suggested that we should have an informal conversation over dinner. But since the restaurant that we picked serves only lunch and dinner (it was too late for that), we chose lunch.

This is some sort of a monthly thing that we normally do and i'm glad that all of us were close like family even though we have some bumpy ride along the way. This is the only time we could talk and blurt out everything. My team is the best thing i have in life and i hope that it would remain that way for as long as it can but sadly, people move on right. With a new member in the family, i hope that things will be the same. Everything seems to be good now.

Things are totally different compared to last time. I feel that now, all of us have the chance to voice out. The chance to excel.... Well, people say, goos things don't last long. Sometimes we gotta bid farewell to people we care even if the heart says no...

Women's need

I bought this for only RM22 from Watson (purchase with purchase) when you purchase more than RM20 and above. Normal price will be RM42. Since my age is increasing *sadly*, therefore i need a youth elixir. I have to take good care of my skin before it's too late. I would like to try Imedeen but it sure pricey for me.

Since my class is starting, i thought i'd need an energy booster for my energy to last more than 12 hours as my classes end at 10pm. That means i'll be heading to class from office. I search a few and found this. Tailored specially for active women. It contain evening primrose (good for period cramp), royal jelly and korean ginseng(for smooth and supple skin), vitamin, herbs and mineral for energy.

Yes,i know all these mean nothing if there's no exercise. It's okay. I'd rather do thia

Not sure what came over me but believe, it was weird. I had a sudden rush of buying nail polish.

So i just tried pastel colors first, with nail polish remover and base coat. All courtesy of Elianto
